fame
I used to watch that show when I was a little kid. I remember once they did a Wizard of Oz episode and it scared me. It must have been the flying monkeys.

wisdom
“I would love to believe that when I die I will live again, that some thinking, feeling, remembering part of me will continue. But much as I want to believe that, and despite the ancient and worldwide cultural traditions that assert an afterlife, I know of nothing to suggest that it is more than wishful thinking.
The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there’s little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides.” Carl Sagan
heroes
I admire people who are extremely innovative and groundbreaking in their ideas, whether they are scientists, mathematicians, engineers, artists, musicians, etc.

sacrifice
I was raised in a conservative church and that word was used to mean giving up the cool and exciting things in your life and filling it up with church meetings instead. I have since reversed that.
vice
Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream with additional pretzels and chunky peanut butter.
cats/dogs
My wife and I finally caved in to our 2 kids and bought a kitten. We named him Charles Darwin. He was a really cute kitten but now he is in a weird stage where he looks like an adult cat but still does crazy kitten things like clawing up the curtains.
